Description
Seeking a sharp, dependable Purchasing Assistant for contingent assignments in business and administrative functions. Synergy Solutions connects professionals with flexible roles that support fast-paced corporate teams and critical operations.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Create and submit RFQ’s
• Assist with supplier negotiation
• Follow up with suppliers on RFQ and Purchase Order status
• Prepare purchase orders in line with final negotiations with selected suppliers and in line with program targets and requirements.
• Assist discussions with suppliers on changes to product, processes or cost that will affect the agreement or relationship.
• Uses company equipment/resources properly & safely and adheres to safety regulations.
• Perform related duties as assigned, within scope of role.
Qualifications/Desired Skills
• Knowledge of purchasing systems and related procedures.
• Manage and maintain required department documentation.
• Practice good communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and team skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, with awareness of deadlines.
• Ability to identify processes needing improvement, and to recommend improvements.
