Position Overview
The Plant Manager is responsible for leading all plant operations, including production, quality, safety, cost control, and people performance. This role oversees three (3) Production Supervisors across three (3) shifts, supporting six (6) assembly production lines. The Plant Manager ensures efficient, safe, and compliant manufacturing operations while driving continuous improvement to meet business objectives.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead and manage all daily plant operations across multiple shifts and assembly lines, ensuring production targets are met on time and within budget.
• Directly manage and develop three Production Supervisors, providing leadership, coaching, and performance management.
• Own production planning, including coordinating and controlling production schedules to meet customer demand and operational goals.
• Oversee and optimize daily manufacturing operations, ensuring consistent workflow, staffing, and equipment utilization.
• Implement and enforce safety, quality, and environmental standards, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Drive process improvement initiatives, utilizing lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
• Maintain strong quality control practices, ensuring products meet specifications and customer expectations.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, quality, safety, delivery, and cost.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, supply chain, and maintenance teams to resolve issues and improve operational performance.
• Maintain cost controls by managing labor, materials, scrap, and operational expenses.
• Lead structured problem-solving efforts to address production challenges and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Desired Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Extensive experience in manufacturing leadership, preferably in an assembly or automotive-related environment.
• Proven experience managing multiple shifts, production lines, and supervisory staff.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, quality systems, safety standards, and lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
