Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Proficiency with network diagramming tools (Microsoft Visio preferred).
• Strong scripting ability using VBScript, PowerShell, Perl, PHP, and/or Python.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and LAN/WAN troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with firewalls, proxies, and databases to ensure system security.
• Ability to serve as a technical resource for system and network-related projects.
• Understanding of backup strategies and disaster recovery.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to interact effectively with team members, vendors, and customers.
• Strong multitasking and time-management abilities.
• Experience securing workstations, servers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Ability to develop and maintain comprehensive system and process documentation.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional IT experience
• Proven experience in designing, planning, and installing network and server infrastructure.
