Position Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electrical parts and building wire harnesses according to precise specifications, contributing directly to the quality and performance of aerospace products.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Assemble electrical components and wire harnesses using visual work instructions and/or engineering blueprints.
• Perform quality inspections of completed assemblies to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
• Use manual, electric, and pneumatic hand tools safely and efficiently during the assembly process.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S or similar workplace practices.
• Adhere to and support company quality policies, procedures, and certifications (such as AS9100, ISO9001, etc.).
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Carry out additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by team leads or supervisors.
Qualifications/Desired Skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in electrical assembly or wire harness manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, or schematics is strongly preferred.
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools commonly used in electrical or mechanical assembly.
• Basic computer literacy for accessing digital work instructions or recording production data.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions precisely.
