Position Overview:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining production machinery and equipment in top working condition to minimize and eliminate downtime. This position performs emergency repairs during production, preventive maintenance, equipment installation and removal, and modifications to production machinery and equipment. The Maintenance Technician will also support production, engineering, and quality teams to help ensure efficient operations and the consistent production of quality parts.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform emergency repairs on machinery and equipment during production.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on production machinery and equipment.
• Install, remove, modify, and support new production machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Support robotics, PLCs, assisted automation, and mechanical handling systems.
• Assist with problem-solving teams to identify and resolve equipment and production issues.
• Work closely with Production Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Production teams.
• Provide support to ensure the production of quality parts for customers.
• Complete and submit required maintenance and production documentation in a timely manner.
• Complete required company training, including new hire orientation and ERP system training.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Desired Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience with a strong understanding of machine and equipment maintenance.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills involving industrial machinery and equipment.
• Experience with robotics, PLCs, assisted automation, and mechanical handling systems preferred.
• Ability to diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs efficiently to minimize production downtime.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with engineering, quality, production, and maintenance teams.
• Ability to complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to perform activities including climbing, carrying, pulling, gripping, grasping, twisting, bending, stooping, and reaching.
• Strong hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, including 8 hours or more.
• Ability to use a telephone and computer keyboard.
