Description
Synergy Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Technician to support daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced automotive environment. This role serves as the connection between production, inventory, and administrative functions by coordinating parts procurement, maintaining accurate production data, and supporting shop floor operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working in a manufacturing setting, and thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform daily inventory control activities and maintain accurate material records.
• Complete material picks for Inventory, Pretest, and Test Fixture areas.
• Move materials to designated staging areas and production locations.
• Transfer materials into Inventory, Pretest, and Test Fixture areas as needed.
• Perform routine inventory cycle counts and verify part quantities.
• Assist with material consolidation and organization.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and warehouse trucks.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and moving materials throughout the facility.
• Support purchased material receiving activities.
• Receive, review, and sort incoming FedEx/UPS shipments.
• Move warranty materials to designated staging areas.
• Maintain organized and clean work areas through daily 5S activities.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment.
• Participate in process and systems improvement initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse, production, and other internal teams.
• Perform additional warehouse and material-handling duties as needed.
Desired Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
• Previous warehouse, inventory, manufacturing, or material-handling experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and warehouse truck.
• Strong parts-counting and inventory-control skills.
• Experience using counting scales is a plus.
• Ability to accurately record part numbers and quantities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to stay organized and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong “get it done” attitude.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
• Comfortable working in an automotive/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, work instructions, and established processes.
