Position Overview:
This position is responsible for inspecting materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and quality standards.
We are looking for an individual with strong mechanical inspection experience, excellent attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, and inspection manuals to determine inspection and testing procedures
• Inspect materials, products, and work-in-progress components for conformance to specifications and quality standards
• Perform visual and mechanical inspections using precision measuring equipment
• Record inspection results, test data, and non-conformance findings accurately and clearly
• Mark and identify accepted or rejected materials and products
• Verify dimensions, functionality, and operational performance of finished products and assemblies
• Communicate inspection results and quality concerns to production and management teams
• Maintain organized inspection documentation and quality records
• Assist with root cause analysis and problem-solving activities
• Support compliance with company quality policies, procedures, and work instructions
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Desired Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical inspection and visual appearance standards
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Experience using inspection and measuring equipment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills
• Aerospace or automotive manufacturing experience preferred
• Familiarity with quality systems and manufacturing processes
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
