Synergy Solutions is hiring a dependable Durability Dynamometer Technician – ALL Shifts for trade assignments with leading employers. Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have experience with iTest, ADAPT, or Horiba emission benches and general automotive mechanical skills. This role requires flexibility to work overtime, one weekend day, and potentially up to 7 days at 12 hours per day as needed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Set up and operate engine durability test cells.
• Install and connect instrumentation and monitor engine performance during testing.
• Perform routine engine health checks and maintenance.
• Remove engines and prepare them for post-test analysis.
• Support general shop and testing operations, including troubleshooting equipment and engines.
• Maintain accurate documentation of test data and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals.

Desired Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of automotive mechanical experience.
• Strong engine mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency with computers, including MS Office, and dynamometer controls operation.
• Must have own tools and rolling tool box.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and extended schedules as needed.
• Strong attention to detail, flexibility, and eagerness to learn.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Associate degree or technical training in an automotive-related field.
• Engine teardown/build experience and ability to follow engine assembly manuals.
• Experience in powertrain calibration, diagnostics, or controls.
• Ability to perform simple fabrications.
• Experience or training with AVL PUMA 2.0 and/or A&D iTest dynamometer controls.
• Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
