Position Overview
This role supports Manufacturing and will focus on the production process for
products to ensure all operating procedures are followed. This role will require training to
become proficient in manufacturing. This is an individual contributor role and requires a
physical labor, an ability to follow specific instructions, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Support pre-production preparation and planning under direct supervision.
• Support material stocking and inventory.
• Support installation of tooling and equipment.
• Support refinement of manufacturing process.
• Adherence to process descriptions and operator instructions.
• Adherence to all safety requirements, including maintaining safety standards throughout.
• his/her area of responsibility as required by law and company policy.
• Support completion of production schedules.
• Ensure all proper processing procedures (quality, safety, etc) are adhered to.
• Become proficient at making GFRC outdoor fireplaces and other products, as instructed.
• Follow the specific day-to-day instructions of our GFRC Production Supervisor.
• Embody and model the "Woodland Way" of teamwork and behavior with a positive "can
• do" attitude.
• Assist with scheduling of material ordering, inventory management, quality control, color.
• matching, and packaging to ensure a product that meets specifications and customer
• expectations.
• Effective, timely, and accurate communication with leadership and team members
• Other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor
• Onsite daily attendance is required for this role.
• May require off shift and weekends as required.
Qualifications/Desired Skills
• 1 to 2 years production experience preferred.
• Previous production experience preferred.
• High School or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
• Willingness to attend classes or training as needed.
• Physical Demands/Working Conditions.
• This job operates in a production environment within a manufacturing/warehouse.
• This position requires standing, walking, sitting, lifting 15lbs, carrying, pushing/pulling, balancing.
