Synergy Solutions is hiring a dependable Sr. Automotive Technician for contingent trade assignments with leading employers. Utilize your skills in short-term projects that demand precision, safety, and reliability in a fast-paced setting.

Position Overview
Responsibilities include providing Tier I and II support to customers regarding application functionality and vehicle data feedbacks submitted by dealerships, engineering and client managers. The technician will also verify service information, parts and wiring diagrams by tearing down vehicle interior and exterior components and then reassembling after assuring the accuracy and usefulness of the information.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Respond to customer emails and feedback, providing support and resolving issues.
• Create, update, and track support tickets.
• Identify and document issues, their causes, and possible solutions.
• Assign or escalate issues to the right person or team (via JIRA, email, or in person).
• Test and validate data and application updates in authoring, staging, and production environments.
• Verify vehicle component accuracy and function, including identifying wire colors and connections.
• Perform on-vehicle testing and document results for removal, installation, and diagnostic procedures.
• Record and report any errors found or improvements needed in documentation or processes.
• Keep validation work organized and current, including data backups, weekly reviews, and requested updates.
• Share validation and quality check reports with team leads, clients, and management as required.
• Identify and troubleshoot potential issues in web-based applications.

Qualifications/Desired Skills
• Previous technician or mechanic with dealership or aftermarket shop experience
• Must have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license
• Ability to read and understand wiring schematics and service procedures
• Able to remove and install vehicle parts using service information manuals
• Must be able to visually differentiate varying degrees of wire colors and locations
• Experience in the automotive industry, service programing and vehicle diagnostics
• Ability to read and understand wiring schematics and service procedures
• Ability to present reports and data findings in a public group setting
• Ability to interface and communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with various levels of customers, peers and management with varying degrees of technical knowledge
• Excellent troubleshooting abilities
• Analyze problems related to web-based applications
• Ability to use networking and remote assistance tools; Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.
• Strong attention to detail, must be detail-oriented and precise
• Ability to successfully prioritize tasks in a high-paced environment
• Windows 10 or 11 experience
• Intermediate user of Microsoft Office Suite
• ASE or State Certified Mechanic
• BS in Automotive Technology, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience
• Experience with the full disassembly or reassembly of vehicles
• Customer service experience in a help desk environment
• Intermediate to advanced vehicle architecture knowledge
• Ability to understand basic database structures (i.e. use of Microsoft Access)
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate information and build rapport with diverse audiences, including clients and executives.
• Strong presentation, interpersonal, and active listening skills, enabling effective understanding of customer needs and professional engagement.
• Skilled at managing expectations and maintaining a positive customer experience through collaboration with both customers and internal teams.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions
• Physical demands: Some walking and standing (sometimes for extended periods of time), occasional transporting, positioning, and lifting of up to 25 lbs. for removal of vehicle parts. Frequently positions self in and out of vehicles by stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling to perform vehicle validation work. Must be able to use hands/fingers to perform vehicle teardown procedures. Perform work in an adequately lighted, ventilated, and climate-controlled area where safety precautions must be observed. Must be able to visually differentiate varied wiring colors and be able to read and understand wiring/electrical schematics
• Work environment: Work is generally performed within a normal office and/or vehicle garage environment using standard office equipment and/or vehicle teardown equipment. Some tools are used to tear down vehicle components for validation purposes. Moderate noise typical of a business office and vehicle garage environment; Travel for company business to attend off-site meetings may be required. Interaction with contracted providers, staff and vendors by phone and face-to-face will be constant and may be interruptive. Work may be stressful at times
