Position Overview:
Synergy Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Parts & Production Coordinator to support daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced automotive environment. This role serves as the connection between production, inventory, and administrative functions by coordinating parts procurement, maintaining accurate production data, and supporting shop floor operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working in a manufacturing setting, and thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
This is a day shift opportunity located in Allen Park, Michigan.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support daily production operations through accurate data entry and administrative coordination.
• Order, track, and manage parts to ensure production schedules remain on track.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, and Warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
• Maintain accurate production records, inventory information, and parts documentation.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create, update, and maintain production reports, spreadsheets, and tracking logs.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with identifying material shortages.
• Support prototype and production builds by coordinating parts availability and resolving material-related issues.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding parts status, production priorities, and scheduling.
• Provide administrative support while remaining actively engaged on the manufacturing floor.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail in all work.
• Perform additional production support duties as assigned.
Desired Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing support, production coordination, inventory control, parts administration, or data entry.
• Previous experience ordering or purchasing parts in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer-focused with the ability to build effective working relationships across multiple departments.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working both in an office environment and on the manufacturing floor throughout the day.
• Willingness to work extended hours as production schedules require.
Preferred Qualifications
• Automotive manufacturing experience.
• Strong automotive parts knowledge.
• Prototype build support experience.
• Electrical or wiring component experience.
• Experience supporting engineering or low-volume production programs.
