Position Overview:
This role is ideal for hands-on electrical technicians with strong wire harness assembly experience within automotive, prototype, or manufacturing environments. Candidates must have real-world harness building experience — this is not a panel building role. The ideal candidate will have experience building, testing, repairing, reworking, and installing wiring harnesses both on vehicles and on the bench while following engineering documentation, schematics, and quality procedures. This position offers the opportunity to work on advanced electrical systems in a fast-paced, collaborative environment supporting cutting-edge vehicle and electrical projects.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Build, install, rework, and repair wiring harnesses on vehicles and bench applications
• Assemble electrical systems using blueprints, BOMs, schematics, cut sheets, and work instructions
• Perform functional testing, safety checks, troubleshooting, and diagnostics on wiring systems and components
• Crimp, solder, de-pin terminals, and perform electrical rework and reverse engineering activities
• Install lights, brackets, connectors, and electrical hardware onto automotive components, test boxes, and vehicles
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and schematics to verify proper operation of electrical systems
• Create basic schematics and assist with harness reverse engineering projects
• Maintain shop equipment and tools by following preventive maintenance procedures
• Support daily shop organization, cleanliness, and safety standards
• Collaborate with team members, engineers, and customers on project execution and troubleshooting

Desired Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
Required
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on wire harness building experience
• Strong experience with: Wire harness assembly / Crimping / Soldering / De-pinning / Electrical troubleshooting / Harness rework and repair
• Ability to read and interpret: Electrical schematics / Blueprints / BOMs / Wiring diagrams / Cut sheets
• Mechanical aptitude with understanding of automotive electrical systems
• Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and multimeters
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Reliable transportation
Preferred
• Certificate in Automotive Electrical Technology or related field
• Automotive powertrain or EV battery system experience
• Experience with vehicle electrical integration and diagnostics
• Experience installing components on circuit boards
• Broad knowledge of automotive systems including: Powertrain / Chassis / Electrical / Thermal systems / Interior/exterior systems
• Valid Driver’s License
