Position Summary:
Synergy Solutions is seeking a motivated MIG Welder to join our automation and robotics team. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform MIG welding on steel components and fabrication assemblies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols to determine weld specifications.
• Set up and operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, ARC, and plasma cutting tools.
• Assemble and weld parts to meet engineering and quality specifications.
• Inspect welds for accuracy, penetration, and overall quality.
• Grind, clean, and finish welds to remove spatter or defects.
• Operate shop equipment such as: Grinders / Saws / Shears / Measuring tools (calipers, tape measures)
• Assist in fitting and fabrication of machine components.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment following company safety procedures.
• Work with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines.
• Use overhead cranes or lifting devices when required.
Desired Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3–5 years of welding experience, including MIG welding.
• Experience with TIG, ARC, Air ARC, or plasma cutting is often preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Familiarity with shop mathematics and metal fabrication techniques.
• Experience operating welding equipment and fabrication tools.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and follow safety standards.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, bend, walk, and twist for extended periods.
• Lift, push, or pull materials up to 25 lbs.
• Work in a manufacturing environment around machinery and welding equipment.
Typical Work Environment
• Industrial manufacturing facility
• Fabrication or machine build shop
• Exposure to welding fumes, metal fabrication processes, and moving equipment.
