Position Overview
The Quality Specialist position verifies incoming/outgoing material quality. The person in this position
will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed. Comprehension of product
quality standards is essential.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Understand job/shipping/labeling instructions and inspect finished good/inbound shipments for
compliance.
• Document inspection results and forward to the Quality Management team for review.
• Assist product/process troubleshooting and analysis to solve quality and process problems and
prevent their recurrence. Prepare preliminary 8D/Corrective Actions as needed.
• Conduct other inspections and containment actions as directed by Manufacturing and Quality
Department Supervisors/Leaders.
• Support production staff as needed.
• Prepare and submit reports to the Quality Manager
Qualifications/Desired Skills
• A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
• Familiarity with basic hand tools, quality gauges, and inspection methods.
• A willingness to learn various MS Office tools.
• 1 year manufacturing experience.
• High School Diploma.
Working Conditions
Work will be performed in a shop and office environment. Noise levels of less than 90 decibels are
present at times.
