Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Disassemble, inspect, and build high-performance internal combustion engines to tight tolerances.
• Perform light fabrication and mechanical modification tasks to engine components and systems.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues related to engines and transmissions.
• Operate shop tools and equipment including hoists, jacks, torque tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
• Support engine and transmission NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) instrumentation and testing.
• Work with powertrain calibration and controls teams to ensure proper engine functionality.
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation within a structured manufacturing environment.
• Adhere to all quality and safety standards in a fast-paced, precision-focused setting.

Qualifications/Desired Skills
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in engine assembly or related mechanical field
• High School Diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred)
• Strong understanding of internal combustion engine operation and assembly
• Demonstrated skill using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Able to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly specifications.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or within a team.
• Able to lift up to 15 lbs and perform tasks that require standing, bending, and physical dexterity.
