Synergy Solutions is hiring a dependable Press Operator for trade assignments with leading employers. Position Overview:
This position is responsible for operating stamping presses, monitoring production quality, and supporting efficient manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing quality parts, maintaining a safe work environment, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Safely operate stamping presses with transfer systems and progressive dies.
• Perform machine setup according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Read and acknowledge all quality and safety alerts within the Plex Manufacturing System.
• Monitor press operation and inspect parts to ensure compliance with customer quality standards.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, material feed issues, or production interruptions immediately.
• Complete production, quality, and downtime documentation accurately within Plex.
• Print and apply product labels while ensuring proper part identification and traceability.
• Package finished parts according to customer specifications and shipping requirements.
• Maintain accurate production records, startup documentation, quality reports, and time reporting.
• Remove scrap material and keep the press area clean, organized, and free of debris.
• Maintain an organized workstation by following 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
• Follow all company safety procedures and properly wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Work closely with Supervisors and Team Leads to support production goals and continuous improvement efforts.
Desired Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Previous manufacturing or press operator experience preferred.
• Experience operating stamping presses, transfer systems, or progressive dies is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, quality standards, and operating procedures.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to enter production information into manufacturing systems.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and committed to maintaining a productive workplace.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, bend, twist, and perform repetitive movements as required.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around moving equipment and machinery while following all safety guidelines.
