Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role supports Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, manages front desk responsibilities, and helps maintain efficient daily office operations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Finance & Accounting Support
• Assist the Finance Department with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
• Perform daily 3-way matching of invoices, packing slips, and purchase orders
• Process Accounts Receivable invoices as needed
• Complete accurate data entry for AP/AR transactions
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial filing systems
• Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail daily
• Support additional finance and administrative tasks as assigned
Reception & Front Desk Responsibilities
• Greet visitors, customers, and vendors in a professional and friendly manner
• Assist guests with sign-in procedures using the visitor tracking system
• Notify employees of visitor arrivals and direct guests appropriately
• Ensure the reception area remains organized and presentable
General Administrative Support
• Provide typing, filing, and general office support
• Collaborate with members of the Finance Department and other internal teams
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
Desired Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate’s Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• 1–2 years of Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable experience preferred
• Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Strong organizational, communication, and basic math skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
