We’re seeking a qualified Senior Program Manager – Robotics & Automation for a permanent role in automation and robotics. Position Overview
The Senior Program Manager will lead large-scale robotics and automation programs from concept through launch. This role oversees cross-functional activities, ensuring the successful delivery of complex automation projects that improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, and throughput. The ideal candidate combines strong technical understanding of robotic systems with proven leadership in program management.

Job Duties and Responsiblities
• Lead end-to-end program management for robotics and automation initiatives, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, external vendors, and key stakeholders.
• Drive the development, integration, and deployment of robotic cells, automation equipment, material-handling systems, and related technologies.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate engineering design reviews, testing, validation, and site commissioning activities.
• Ensure technical requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations are met across all project phases.
• Manage cross-functional collaboration between engineering, manufacturing, quality, maintenance, and operations teams.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including timelines, resource plans, status reports, and financial tracking.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, automation roadmap development, and long-term strategic planning.
• Mentor junior engineers and project leaders; foster best practices in program and project management.

Qualifications/Desired Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Robotics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 7–10+ years of experience in program or project management within robotics, automation, manufacturing, or systems integration.
• Deep technical understanding of industrial robotics (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, or similar), PLC controls, HMI systems, and automated equipment.
• Proven track record of successfully managing multi-million-dollar automation programs.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing environments, safety standards, and equipment commissioning processes.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar).
• Ability to travel to support vendor engagement, equipment buyoffs, and on-site implementation.

Preferred Experience
• Automotive, aerospace, or high-volume manufacturing background.
• Experience with simulation and offline programming (ROBOGUIDE, Process Simulate, etc.).
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management credential.
