Synergy Solutions is hiring a dependable Maintenance Technician for contingent trade assignments with leading employers. Utilize your skills in projects that demand precision, safety, and reliability in a fast-paced setting.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform general maintenance, installation and repair on all facility equipment and structure which may include (but is not limited to) electrical, welding, carpentry, pipefitting, painting and plumbing
• Process maintenance work and repair orders
• Document and perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment as outlined in the manufacturer’s manual or by supervisor’s guidelines
• Pick up and deliver parts related to facility structure or equipment
• Maintains a Chauffeur’s license and drive the Company’s truck to pick up and deliver parts related to facility structure or equipment
• Assists in the maintenance and service needs of the truck (i.e. gas, oil and lubrication, cooling system and battery, tire care)
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications/Desired Skills
• To perform this position successfully, the employee must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • High School Diploma or Equivalent; Associates Degree preferred
• Four years of experience in a manufacturing work environment or related work environment
• Previous experience with welding and hydraulics
• Previous experience with electrical troubleshooting
• PLC experience highly desired
• Maintains an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that meets the Company’s Insurance underwriting guidelines
• Maintains an acceptable DOT Certification
• Basic computer skills for data entry
• Strong organizational skills
• High attention to details
• Possess a team attitude and have respect for others
