Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Handles the layout and installation of electrical components for tooling while ensuring proper function and compliance with electrical standards.
- Execute tasks with a focus on optimizing time, cost efficiency, and functional performance.
- Complete assigned tooling in accordance with work requirements utilizing; engineering drawings, customer specifications, and technical manuals as needed Identify electrical problems, and recommend adjustments/repair work as necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on issues that arise.
- Adhere to company policies and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
- All other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- 2+ years of electrical experience in a machine tool shop
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Able to interpret engineering drawings and successfully layout equipment according to blueprints.
- High regard for safety standards
- Knowledge of welding and automated assembly
- Knowledge of Electrical Standards, tooling assembly & setup
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and twist. May be required to lift/push/pull up to 25lbs.
- This position operates in a plant and manufacturing environment.
- Regularly works on-site at local organization locations. This position is for regular, full-time work and may require coming in early, working late, or working on weekends to meet the needs of the business.
