Position Overview:
This role will support automotive manufacturing operations through material handling, inventory control, and warehouse support activities. This role is responsible for picking and pulling parts, delivering materials to production areas, processing inventory transactions, and maintaining inventory accuracy within the ERP system.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience operating a Hi-Lo/Forklift is required; however, this position involves a combination of warehouse operations, inventory management, and system transactions — not just equipment operation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Pick, pull, stage, and deliver materials and automotive parts to production areas
• Process inventory and material movement transactions within the ERP system
• Receive, organize, and distribute incoming materials and inventory
• Support shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations
• Operate a Hi-Lo/Forklift to move materials throughout the facility
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy activities
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies
• Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and tracked
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Remove packing materials and dunnage as needed
• Follow company safety policies and procedures
• Support overtime and additional operational needs when required

Desired Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of material control, warehouse, or inventory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience using computers for inventory tracking and material transactions
• Ability to operate a Hi-Lo/Forklift and successfully complete internal certification training
• Basic understanding of inventory control and warehouse processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
• Automotive manufacturing experience
• Experience using ERP or inventory management systems such as PeopleSoft
• Valid Driver’s License
• Cycle counting or inventory auditing experience
Skills & Abilities
• Ability to read, count, and accurately track inventory information
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong multitasking and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
Work Environment
• This position works within a warehouse and automotive manufacturing environment and may require standing, walking, lifting, bending, and operating industrial equipment throughout the shift.
