Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 plus years of experience in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, along with proficiency in trailer maintenance, fabrication, and tire service.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in medium to heavy-duty diesel vehicles, including engines, transmissions, and fuel systems.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Conduct trailer maintenance, including welding, fabrication, and electrical repairs.
• Replace worn or damaged tires and perform wheel alignments as needed.
• Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper functioning.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic, with a focus on medium to heavy-duty vehicles, with at least 3 plus years of experience.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related components.
• Experience with trailer maintenance, including welding, fabrication, and electrical repairs.
• Tire service experience, including tire replacement and wheel alignments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
