Position Overview:
The Manufacturing Engineer II will be responsible for evaluating and improving manufacturing processes by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials. This role will focus on improving manufacturing efficiency, optimizing workflows, supporting production launches, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Evaluate manufacturing feasibility for: Capacity planning / Product design changes / Engineering changes / Scope changes / Quality concerns
• Develop and optimize: Process flow documentation / Manufacturing line layouts / Work instructions / Workflow and space utilization
• Define capital equipment, fixtures, and tooling required for production
• Manage procurement, installation, and validation of production equipment and tooling
• Support product development and launch activities from concept through production
• Facilitate implementation of new manufacturing equipment and provide technical training
• Conduct time studies and workflow analysis to improve productivity and efficiency
• Identify and resolve ergonomic concerns related to products, equipment, or processes
• Support pilot builds, testing, run-at-rate events, and process sign-offs
• Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and program teams

Desired Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Preferred emphasis in Manufacturing, Welding, or Assembly Processes
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a production-based manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of: Weldment fixtures / Low-volume manufacturing / Mechanical assembly processes
• Experience conducting: Time studies / Workflow analysis / Process optimization
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including project planning tools
• Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Must qualify as a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident to meet ITAR compliance requirements
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in one or more of the following industries: / Theme Park / Entertainment Systems / Automotive / Aviation / Defense
• Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies: Robotics / Automation / PLC Controls
• Knowledge of: Lean Manufacturing principles / APQP processes / Continuous improvement methodologies
