Description
Synergy Solutions is hiring a dependable Dynamometer Technician for contingent trade assignments with leading employers. Utilize your skills in short-term projects that demand precision, safety, and reliability in a fast-paced setting.
Position Overview
This role is responsible for engine set-up, including instrumentation, monitoring the test while it's running, and for engine removal. They will also be supporting programs that require powertrain mapping, combustion analysis, emission testing and engine power/mechanical development. Day shift
Qualifications/Desired Skills
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of powertrain dynamometer testing experience.
• Must have excellent engine mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
• Must be proficient with computers, including MS Office applications and dynamometer controls operation experience.
• Must have own tools and a rolling tool box.
• Must be willing to learn and able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Must be flexible, eager to learn and have a strong attention to detail.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Associate degree or technical training in an automotive related field.
• Engine teardown/build skills and able to follow an engine assembly manual.
• Powertrain calibration, diagnostics or controls experience.
• Able to perform simple fabrications.
