Position Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all products and production processes meet established quality standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will be a strong advocate for quality, with the ability to inspect, test, and verify products to ensure they are manufactured using flawless materials and processes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
– Inspect, test, and measure materials and finished products, accurately recording results
– Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM, optical comparators, and surface testers
– Accept or reject products based on quality standards and clearly identify non-conforming materials
– Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documents
– Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles in inspections
– Recommend process or assembly adjustments to improve product quality
– Calibrate and verify inspection and testing equipment
– Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation
– Follow all safety procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives

Desired Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Minimum of 1 year of quality inspection experience using hand gauges or similar tools
– Strong understanding of measurement tools and inspection techniques
– Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
– Ability to read and follow technical instructions and drawings
– Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
– Effective communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
– Manufacturing / production setting
– Hands-on role requiring precision, focus, and adherence to quality standards
Preferred Qualifications
– Experience programming and operating DCC CMM equipment
– Working knowledge of quality standards and inspection processes
– ASQ (American Society for Quality) Certification
– Ability and willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
