Description
Synergy Solutions is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality operations within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. This position will oversee the Quality Department, maintain quality management and document control systems, and lead plant-wide quality improvement initiatives. The Quality Manager will also be responsible for developing and supporting the quality team, driving corrective actions, and ensuring products consistently meet customer and industry requirements.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated quality professional who can balance hands-on problem solving with strong leadership. This individual should be comfortable working cross-functionally with production, engineering, customers, suppliers, and management while driving accountability and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the Quality Department, including hiring, training, development, performance management, and team leadership.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve product quality, reliability, and overall manufacturing performance.
• Lead corrective action activities from identification through implementation and follow-up.
• Work closely with Process Engineering on process and engineering changes.
• Support prototype builds, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Ensure production processes consistently produce quality products that meet customer specifications.
• Develop and maintain quality records, documentation, and reporting systems.
• Design and implement systems to collect, maintain, and analyze quality data.
• Identify quality and process issues, evaluate potential solutions, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide on-site quality support to customers and suppliers as needed.
• Support plant-wide continuous improvement initiatives and quality teams.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, union requirements, ISO/IATF standards, and applicable government regulations.
• Communicate effectively with employees, management, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and quality-focused work environment.
• Develop and implement short- and long-term quality goals and objectives.
• Manage multiple quality projects and priorities while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and manufacturing processes.
• Working knowledge of ISO and IATF quality standards.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, manufacturing costs, and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of machines, tooling, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership, supervisory, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database applications.
• Experience with statistical software and quality data analysis preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
• Strong presentation and internal customer service skills.
