Synergy Solutions is hiring a dependable Automotive Mechanic II for trade assignments with leading employers. Position Overview:
This role is responsible for modifying cars and trucks, performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance across a variety of vehicle systems. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively with customers and internal teams.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
– Perform vehicle inspections and complete repairs based on work orders or leadership direction
– Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical system issues
– Replace and install vehicle parts and components as needed
– Read, interpret, and follow service manuals and technical procedures
– Document service work, repairs, and vehicle updates accurately
– Maintain shop equipment through proper use, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
– Support daily shop organization, cleanliness, and safety standards
Desired Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Minimum of 4 years of automotive mechanic experience
– Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with shop equipment
– Ability to read and follow written procedures and technical instructions
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
– Ability to work independently and within a team environment
– Must have own tools and rolling toolbox
– Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
– Prototype and shop-based setting
– Hands-on, fast-paced environment working on a variety of vehicles
Preferred Qualifications
– Certificate in Automotive Technology or related field
– ASE Certifications
– State Mechanic Certifications
– Valid driver’s license
– Experience with: Vehicle alignments /AC system diagnostics and repair /Tire machines and balancing equipment
