Position Overview:
The Composite Technician (Assembly) is responsible for assembling composite components and subassemblies used in aerospace applications. This includes working with composite materials, bonding, trimming, and finishing parts to meet strict engineering and quality standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assemble composite parts and structures according to visual work instructions and engineering blueprints.
• Perform bonding, trimming, sanding, and finishing of composite materials.
• Inspect assembled components to ensure conformance with quality and safety standards.
• Utilize manual, electric, and air-powered tools to complete assembly tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support compliance with Company Quality Policies and procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Desired Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
• Experience or education in blueprint reading and composite assembly processes.
• Familiarity with hand tools and composite material handling.
• Experience with bonding, layup, trimming, or finishing composites is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
